Meet Leila

The newest member of the Curly Crew at Prairie Heart Counselling.

Leila joined us in January 2023 during her social work practicum and, now after graduation, will remain on the team.

Leila co-facilitates our weekly pregnancy, infant, and child loss support group as well as the Kids Mental Health group . She also runs the social media pages and is the go-to for resource development.

Leila has a passion for perinatal mental health, and with 18 years of formal dance training, puts a focus on integrating play and movement into her interactions with the children with whom she works.
